Sunrise… a poem

Sunrise…

Beaming moon

And its sheen gushing through my veins,

The clusters of stars

Forming patterns so bright and mesmerizing.

These comely entities are bewitching to the naked eyes

And the sight of them soothing for the bare soul

Desiring to shine bright!

You see,

These extolled nights and their unparalleled beauty

Fill the lacuna in me,

With glitter,

With love,

With passion.

The silence is compelling

Deeply satisfying

And yet, I know there is something missing.

Perhaps, this is why I retire to bed early.

I shut my eyes and let myself wander

In the land of fairies.

I look forward to waking up early,

Before the world is done with its sleeping.

The sunrise is the bait that lures me into

Leaving my bed.

I love to see across the vast expanse

Standing at the brink of daybreak.

Exploring the transition,

Witnessing the light transcending the darkness,

To supersede the pessimism with hope.

I strive to be up before the sun rises,

Because dawn is the canvas, longing for me to paint it,

With my thoughts, emotions and words!

  1. I wake up to see the Pink shade of sky
Being a kid, knew no reason for its pinkie
Later realized it was me, Aditya, that is, SUN.
    Aditya makes morning beautiful
    Aditya makes birds sing
Aditya makes ‘Aditya’ leave bed early
    Aditya makes sky so charming
Aditya makes moon beautiful, of which the world is fan
    Aditya completes the nature
Nothing stays without Aditya but darkness
The darkness that dwells not outside but flows inside
Later ‘Aditya’ realized that there is no flow of darkness because there nowhere to flow, it is distributed equally everywhere.
⛅ Sun makes morning and induce me to get rid of darkness that reigns within me.
Sunrise is not merely the rising of Sun from East
It is indeed rising of hopes, power and enthusiasm in oneself.
    “Let’s take a decision wise
Wake up early to admire sunrise”
