I am waiting for

The summers to arrive

Because it is too cold deep inside.

My brain gets numb

And I fear that my heart would succumb

To the extreme nippy conditions.

I am waiting for

The warmth to embrace

To cuddle me and see through my face.

I am waiting for

The affection to hold me

For the love to listen to all that I have been hiding!
