Half-Love – Poem

Have you ever felt the

Cascading down your breaths

Tickling your senses

Drawing out of you

immense energy

And then filling the vacant space

on its own, slowly.

A love split into two halves

A piece with you

And the other rests with me.

A shared life we lead

A half-life, maybe.

It is this theory of halves

That work out our lives

Seldom we may notice

But it becomes the only law

Exercising our journey

In this world of ecstasy and grief!
