What have this lockdown, this quarantine taught you?

In the mad rush of life, how many times do we just stop and observe things? How many times do we calm down and just let it be? How many times do we really ‘live’ our lives? Well, this lockdown has brought us to a standstill. And with every passing day, we’re losing our heads.  Can we just accept this borrowed time and live in the moment with gratitude?

We Had It All by Jithu Biji Thomas is an extremely short book that brings the truth of life in front of our eyes. With lucid writing, the book speaks of an important point we never realize in just 10 pages. We never celebrate life the way we should, we never embrace it, we just pass our days until it’s too late. Only when regrets seem heavy on our hearts do we see the futility of everything that we did. Only then do we realize what went amiss.

I liked how the author built the narrative. It is succinct and impactful and that, according to me, is symbolic of flair. The climax hit me. I am glad to read this one.
