Sai Baba is one of the most revered persons in the Indian subcontinent. His devout devotees are spread all across the world who vouch for his wonderful life lessons.

Sri Sai Sat Charitra is a biography based on the true-life stories of Sai Baba of Shirdi. Originally written by Shri. Govind Raghunath Dabholkar alias Hemadpant, the original edition of the Sai Satcharitra was published in Marathi on 26 November 1930.

Author Ishwar Joshi came up with Sri Sai Charitra for Kids to introduce the younger generation to an amazing spiritual journey of self-discovery with Sai Baba of Shirdi. This edition is a simplified version of the original text that makes it easy for children to grasp the teaching of Sai Baba.

The book stands out for its simple language, explanation of the background and concepts mentioned in the original text, splitting of the chapters into smaller sections as well as adding questions and answers. Yes, each chapter that reads like a story is an anecdote from Baba’s life. Each one of them is followed by a set of questions for a quick recollection of the chapter.

The approachable writing style coupled with illustrations adds to the appeal of this kids-friendly guidebook. The 51 chapters speak volumes about Sai Baba’s magnificent demeanour. His personality continues to comfort many people today. This book does a good job at breaking down a rather complex and wordy text into a simpler version for more people to absorb it easily and be inspired.
