Author Interview – Nikita Tak

Nikita Tak is an upcoming Indian AuthorIndian Author who believes in doing what her heart says and working hard for what she believes in. She hails from the beautiful city of Rajasthan and is a prolific Indian author and poet who writes romance, science fiction, Acrostic rhymes poetry, romance rhymes poetry, etc. She is all ready to release her second book The Chocolate Cake.

QUES: Please tell our readers about yourself.

Nikita: Born on 25th January, I am from Rajasthan, the land of the king’s in India. Born in Ajmer and bought up in Silvassa, capital of U.T of D&N.H, I am a prolific Indian author and poet. I write romance, science fiction, motivational and inspiring stories, Acrostic rhymes poetry, romance rhymes poetry, etc that touches the hearts of literature lovers in the blink of an eye. I am also a passionate blogger who loves to write blogs in a different niche. I am a huge fan of Jules Verne. Apart from writing, I love cooking, reading books, articles, etc. I love to research about numerology and astrology. I vision to see zero rape world soon. My first book is The First Sip Of My Morning Coffee that is a poetry collection along with some thoughts and a short story that is trailer story of my second book, The Chocolate Cake, itself. My first book has got rave reviews from the readers.

QUES: Tell something in brief about your novel – The Chocolate Cake.

Nikita: It is a romance plus science fiction novel that will give 2 morals. It is the story of a guy who is passionate about his career that even after facing a mishap, he doesn’t give up on his career goals.

The novel is also the story of female lead character’s vision to see a world without any rape and the way in which her hubby help in achieving her vision. The novel is a medical romance, plus sci-fi that will thrill literature lovers to bits.

QUES: What inspired you to write this book and bring it in front of the world?

Nikita: A quote about doctors, inspired me to write this book, “Doctors and teachers are the second gods on earth.” And then a question clicked my mind, “Why doctors are called god on earth?”. My first answer to this question is this novel. Moreover, my love for technology urged me to think technology advancements for the future in form of scientific researches and bring it to the world so that people get inspired to turn them into reality.

QUES: How did you get into writing in the first place? Is it a hobby or something you are pursuing professionally?

Nikita: I have written my first acrostic poem, out of blue, for 1 of my friend in college life when she was about to leave college. It was then that I discovered the writing bug in me and then daily writing turned a hobby and then, a profession.

QUES: From where do you draw ideas for your books or write-ups in general?

Nikita: By observing the world around me, I get ideas for writing.

QUES: When you are not writing novels, how do you spend your time?

Nikita: I love listening to music, cooking, reading articles, and books. I also love to watch movies in free time, especially, horror.

QUES: How would you describe the contemporary scenario of writing and reading in India?

Nikita: Well, I would like to say that fresh faces into writing community are coming every year with their masterpieces. Still, there is a long way to go in Indian writing.

QUES: Best piece of writing advice you would like to give to the budding writers?

Nikita: Just be a keen observer of everything around you and you will get sparks for writing.

QUES: What is that one thing in life you feel you have done perfectly?

Nikita: Science research is what I love to do a lot and I feel before sharing it to the world, it needs perfection.

QUES: If you are a travel freak, what kind of destinations attract you?

Nikita: Hill stations.

QUES: Do you read books? If yes, which one is most dear to you?

Nikita: Yes, 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA by JULES VERNE is my favorite.

QUES: Are we going to read more from you in the near future? Any new project that you are working on?

Nikita: Yes, in 2020 there will be 2 of my upcoming books. Not yet started working on it, I will be starting working on it from mid-2019.
