Find me a Rainbow by Satyakam Sengupta is a delightful collection of poems spread across a variety of themes to engage a reader. Lovingly written and served with interesting illustrations, this book has a taste that would delight a veteran poetry lover’s heart.

Divided into 3 sections, the poems dwell deeper on the vagaries of life. Each one is a result of deep introspection on what life is and what it becomes in routine. In a way, these poems reflect upon the good and bad and subtly show us the value of finding a rainbow.

This collection is refreshing in its approach to writing poems. The language is considerably above moderate level and so a newbie to poetry might not like it as much. However, the beauty of strung sentences and rhythm comes alive as we go further in reading poems.

The good part is the diversity that appears in these poems. Somewhere, the poet reflects upon love and longing. Elsewhere, they shed light on the nuances of life and the humdrum of the world. Everything combines to deliver an engaging book that would jolt you out of reveries or lull you to sleep.
