What do you think about finding a pot of gold most unexpectedly? Imagine you get one, what would you do with that?

The Mystery of the Graveyard Gold is an exciting tale of three children who uncover a pot of gold coins in a graveyard. How that one discovery changes their lives sets the central plot of the book. Karthik and Aarav are schoolmates and Asha is the latter’s younger sister. The powerful trio, AKA, sets out on a thrilling journey of a treasure hunt to look for answers, but when tables turn, things go around haphazardly.

This short book is essentially a detective novella tracing the adventurous acts of three kids. The author has done a good job of fleshing out relatable characters and building up an intriguing narrative. Each sequence leading to another brings in a generous dose of suspense. A simple storyline coupled with an honest portrayal of interpersonal relationships made it an easy breezy reading experience for me.

The sheer wit and bravery of the children was interesting thing to read. And I also liked how the story incorporates the mystery of gold and sibling relations, parental connections, and the development of friendships. On that note, it is certainly a book I would recommend to children. It has fun, friendships, and more to indulge a young reader’s mind.
