A festival of delight,
Before and after which they always fight.
But today you will have a different sight.
They are friends,
They are enemies,
They are loving family members.
They are everything which you could relate to a cat and mice.
But this is the day on which a sister ties a knot on a brothers wrist.
And it completely gets bliss when there is an exchange of their gifts.
It is the festival of brothers and sisters.

A realistic poem for – while siblings are tied by shared blood and hopefully love -, it isn’t always so. But there is always hope that the relationship will endure to the end. It is true of my brothers and me; hopefully for my three sons. Love is all. Thank you.
