Some people hear their own inner voices with great clearness. And they live by what they hear. Such people become crazy… or they become legend.

Since the beginning of human settlement, a lot of people came up with ideas, philosophies, beliefs, experiments, research, redesigning of thoughts, talents, and surveys to bring myths to reality.
People contributed to various life aspects of science, politics, literature, arts, social activities, and so many other fields. These genius minds put a keen interest in every phenomenon right from when they were young. The zeal, passion, dedication, hard work and efforts they put into their work helped them discover something new about the world we live in.
In these Legends, we’ve seen inexplicable abilities that helped us define our existence and human life. Their names are engraved in the sands of time for their work in the welfare of mankind with different inventions that have made our lives easy, enjoyable and successful. The following chapters commemorate the greatest personalities we’ve ever seen who changed the world.
They are among the most influential people of today’s world. With practical advantages in various aspects, they have helped us to grow a better understanding of the world and different working phenomenon’s that governs us. Their way of shaping modern day culture is completely unrivaled.

Legends are the exemplary figures of the society, they are luminaries who act as the beacon to the future. They become the illustrious personalities because they had the courage to stand up for what they believed in and apparently, that made all the difference.

Legends Over Generation by Ashraf Haggag is an amalgamation of stories of several people who, over the time, turned into legends. They were no less than ordinary beings but these people worked towards mobilizing change and this renders them the class of Legends. The people discussed in the book belong to different domains – Arts, Literature, Science, Human Rights and Politics. They have been the torchbearers of the change with their praiseworthy intellect and inspirational ideologies. They possess the skills that set them apart from the hoi polloi.

The book begins with explaining the author’s take on the importance of legends and then goes on covering the various famous personalities of different fields. Each life story has been organized into key points to succinctly describe the facts we need to know as readers. The unnecessary elaboration has been deliberately avoided to serve the vital information to the readers. The author kept an eye on including important parts of the lives of eminent people which played a crucial role in shaping their lives. Facts have been put forth nicely and the narration has been kept simple. No verbose content, no grandiloquent narrative and this make the book an amazing read for the children. The flow of thoughts was proper throughout the book and serves as a guide to the lives of great people of all times. The compilation of their quotes at the end of their stories is really good. The mind elevating thoughts give an insight into the minds of these leaders. Overall, the presentation is simply engaging with an attractive cover and title.

I felt that there are even greater figures in history who should have been portrayed here. Moreover, women didn’t get ample space in the book. Additionally, the sentence structure is glitchy at some points which hamper the reading experience. The book requires a proper editing to make it flawless.

If you wish to delve into the crisp account of the lives of people who inspire with their great ideas, Go For This Book!
